USS Daniel Boone Reunion will be held Monday 1 through Tuesday 2 September 2008 in the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth. For those of you who would like to come earlier and stay later the hotel rate of $116/night will be in effect 31 August thru 6 September. A block of rooms has been reserved and the hotel asks that we identify ourselves as Daniel Boone Boat Reunion people when reserving a room. The hotel phone number is (800) 433-5677. Parking at the hotel is $16/day for valet parking and $12/day for self parking. Internet access is $10/day.
IMPORTANT – Make your reservations as soon as possible – the rooms are on a first come, first served basis. AFTER you have made your reservations, contact the POC (below) and let him know you have done so, as well as how many will be in your party. If you are staying somewhere other than the Renaissance, he’ll need the same information.
There will be two scheduled events:
Evening of 1 September – a “meet & greet” at the Renaissance hotel, with no-host cocktails and light oer d’ouvres.
Evening of 2 September – dinner at the Renaissance hotel.

USS Seadragon Reunion will be held Wed. 3 thru Fri. 5 September 2008 in the Renaissance Hotel (A Marriott Hotel). in Dallas - Fort Worth. The USSVI Convention will be held 1 thru 7 September 2008 in Hilton Hotel. For those of you who would like to come earlier and stay later the hotel rate of $116/night will be in effect 29 August thru 6 September. As usual we reserved a block of rooms and the Hotel asks we identify ourselves as Seadragon/USSVI people when reserving a room. The Hotel phone number is (800) 468-3571. Reservations cannot be made prior to 1 September 2007. Parking at the hotel is $16.00 for valet parking and $12.00 for self parking. Internet access is $10.00/day.
The Hospitality Room will be open 0800 until close the 3rd and 4th. Friday the 5th it will close at 1600. The Dinner/Buffet and Business Meeting is to be held the night of the fifth (start time to be determined). The approximate cost for the Dinner/Buffet will be $55.00. The Menu will include tossed salad, red potato salad, Cole slaw, BBQ chicken, pork ribs, sliced brisket, sausages, various steamed vegetables, rolls, peach cobbler, and pecan pie.
